This review investigates whether combining microneedling with minoxidil is more effective than using minoxidil alone for increasing hair density and diameter in patients with alopecia. Results are not reported.
November 2025 in “Journal of Family Medicine and Primary Care” This systematic review and meta-analysis found that low-dose minoxidil treatment effectively enhances facial hair development with relatively minimal side effects, which can be beneficial in primary care settings.
