dermal regeneration template aiding severe burn healing

Integra is a type of dermal regeneration template used in medical treatments to aid in the healing of severe burns and other skin injuries. It consists of a bilayer membrane system: the inner layer is made of a matrix of cross-linked bovine tendon collagen and glycosaminoglycan, which promotes dermal regeneration, while the outer layer is a silicone film that acts as a temporary epidermis, protecting the wound from infection and fluid loss.
