    GlossaryFluorescent Light

device that uses mercury vapor to produce visible light

A fluorescent light, also known as a fluorescent lamp or fluorescent tube, is a type of lighting device that uses electricity to excite mercury vapor. This process generates ultraviolet (UV) light, which then causes a phosphor coating inside the tube to glow, producing visible light. Fluorescent lights are more energy-efficient and have a longer lifespan compared to traditional incandescent bulbs.

. ummwhatsure: No it doesn't. I started losing my hair around 27/28. This user has had great success with a combination of finasteride and Minoxidil, taking 1 milligram of finasteride per day and applying Minoxidil twice daily for 4 years, starting when they were 31. They experienced some shedding in the first two years, but now have thicker, fuller hair than before.

A person dealing with hair loss is considering shaving their head, using scalp micropigmentation to cover a FUT scar, or trying a hair system. They are also contemplating treatments like minoxidil, finasteride, and dutasteride.
