Fat grafting, also known as fat transfer or autologous fat transfer, is a procedure where fat is harvested from one part of the body, typically through liposuction, and then purified and injected into another area that requires volume enhancement or contouring. This technique is commonly used in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery to improve the appearance of the face, breasts, hands, and other areas, offering a natural alternative to synthetic fillers.
