This study found that a chitosan, chondroitin sulfate, and hyaluronic acid scaffold improved wound healing in rats by promoting immune-stromal interactions, reducing inflammation, and supporting tissue regeneration with ~91% wound closure by day 17 compared to ~63% in controls.
