long-term inflammation of hair follicles causing red, itchy bumps

Chronic Folliculitis, also known as Persistent Folliculitis, is a long-term inflammation of the hair follicles. This condition is characterized by red, inflamed bumps that can be itchy or painful and may lead to scarring or hair loss if left untreated. It often requires ongoing management, including good hygiene, topical or oral antibiotics, and sometimes lifestyle changes to prevent flare-ups.
