    The Catagen Phase, also known as the Transitional Phase, is a short period in the hair growth cycle that lasts about 2-3 weeks. During this phase, hair growth stops, and the hair follicle shrinks and detaches from the dermal papilla, effectively transitioning the hair from the growth phase (Anagen) to the resting phase (Telogen). This phase is crucial for the renewal of hair follicles and the overall hair growth process.
