protein receptor involved in cell growth and tissue regeneration

C-Met, also known as the hepatocyte growth factor receptor (HGFR), is a protein found on the surface of certain cells. It plays a crucial role in cell growth, movement, and differentiation by binding to its specific ligand, hepatocyte growth factor (HGF).
