    Acne Keloidalis Nuchae (AKN) is a chronic inflammatory condition that primarily affects the hair follicles on the back of the neck, leading to the formation of firm, raised scars or keloids. It is more common in men, particularly those of African descent, and can result in hair loss and discomfort in the affected area.
