TLDR A new treatment using unactivated platelet leukocyte autoplasma cured 80% of non-scarring alopecia patients.
The study investigated the effectiveness of unactivated platelet leukocyte autoplasma (PLAP) in treating non-scarring alopecia, involving 50 participants. Results indicated significant improvements in hair density and thickness, suggesting that PLAP might stimulate hair growth by enhancing follicular health and reducing inflammation. The study concluded that PLAP could be a promising treatment option, but recommended further research with larger sample sizes and longer follow-up periods to confirm long-term efficacy and safety.
