The study introduces an ultrasound-responsive hydrogel (PBE&SNO@HG) designed to enhance diabetic wound healing by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) and releasing nitric oxide (NO) on demand. The hydrogel, which combines Prussian blue nanozymes for ROS scavenging and an ultrasound-triggered NO donor, promotes angiogenesis, reduces inflammation, and supports wound remodeling. In vitro and in vivo tests, including a small animal cohort (n=3), demonstrated the hydrogel's ability to improve wound closure rates, enhance skin regeneration, and increase collagen deposition and neovascularization in diabetic rats. The hydrogel showed good biocompatibility, hemocompatibility, and potential for chronic wound management, with future research focusing on larger sample sizes and clinical applicability.
