Its structure, characterized by varying molecular weights and specific glycosidic linkages, influences its bioactivities and applications. TFP shows potential in regulating glucose and lipid metabolism, enhancing cognitive function, and supporting skin health. However, challenges such as complex structure, low extraction rate, and unstable quality hinder large-scale application. Most studies are limited to animal models, necessitating further research to understand TFP's mechanisms and validate its efficacy in humans. Optimizing extraction methods and exploring novel technologies are crucial for improving yield and purity.
