TLDR The cat fully recovered after treatment and showed no further symptoms.
A six-month-old domestic cat weighing 1.42 kg was diagnosed with scabiosis and toxocariosis, presenting symptoms like alopecia, hyperkeratosis, and digestive issues. The treatment included ivermectin injections, pyrantel pamoate, antihistamines, multivitamins, and sulfur soap baths. The cat showed significant improvement by the third day, with reduced pruritus and no worms expelled by the fourth day. Hair regrowth and reduced skin issues were noted by the sixth day. After the third ivermectin injection on the fourteenth day, the cat's condition had significantly improved, and it was returned to its owner with no further symptoms. Regular bathing and deworming are recommended to prevent recurrence.
