TLDR Sandalore® improves hair growth and quality in people with hair loss.
The study demonstrated that the topical application of Sandalore®, an agonist of the olfactory receptor OR2AT4, significantly improved parameters associated with telogen effluvium, a form of hair loss. Participants reported decreased hair shedding, increased hair growth, stronger and denser hair, and overall better hair quality. Objective measurements confirmed these improvements, showing significant increases in hair volume, the ratio of terminal to vellus hairs, and the percentage of anagen (growth phase) hair follicles. The findings suggested that Sandalore® could be an effective treatment for telogen effluvium, highlighting the potential of olfactory receptor agonists in hair growth and hair loss treatments.

The conversation humorously outlines the progression of hair loss and the increasing desperation for treatments, starting with vitamins and dermapen, moving to finasteride, then to dutasteride and experimental chemicals, and finally to acceptance with shaving or hoping for hair cloning. Some users agree with the accuracy, while others question if it's a joke.
