This systematic review evaluated the use of toluidine blue (TB) in Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) by analyzing 12 relevant studies from a total of 25 articles. The findings suggest that TB can be significant in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of specific skin tumors, although the existing literature is limited and primarily qualitative.
