TLDR A young man with severe neck and beard burns was successfully treated, restoring neck movement and improving skin appearance.
A young adult male with severe postburn neck contracture and beard alopecia was successfully treated using a combination of contracture release, an expanded neck flap, and follicular unit extraction (FUE) from the scalp and unburnt beard area. The treatment not only restored neck mobility and esthetic appearance but also significantly improved the quality of the scarred facial skin, as confirmed by punch biopsies.
