A Survey on Marketed Products Having Significant Role in Hair Loss Treatment: Bhilai-Durg City 2011-12

    The study conducted in Bhilai-Durg city in 2011-12 aimed to identify the most available and significant products for hair loss treatment in the local market. Data were collected from 33 medical stores, 41 general stores, and 26 fancy stores through mailed questionnaires. The findings revealed that Sesa oil, Keshking oil, and Parachute oils were the most commonly available brands for hair loss treatment. Additionally, popular shampoos included Head & Shoulders, Sesa, Clinic Plus, and Sunsilk. The study also highlighted the use of herbal ingredients such as Aloe vera, Amla, Bahera, Bhringraj, Brahmi, Harra, Mehndi, Neem, Olive Oil, Shikakai, and Yasti Madhu in hair oil preparations.
