TLDR Stem cell treatments led to complete hair regrowth in a 40-year-old man.
A 40-year-old man with hair loss in the frontal and parietal regions underwent a treatment regimen involving umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell (UC-MSC) injections and mesenchymal stem cell-derived secretome. The treatment consisted of weekly sessions for four weeks, with UC-MSC injections on the right side and secretome injections on the left side initially, followed by secretome injections on both sides in subsequent sessions. After 24 weeks, the patient experienced complete regrowth of scalp hair with no relapse. The study suggests that UC-MSC and secretome could be effective for hair regrowth, but further trials with larger populations are needed to confirm these findings.
