    The study aimed to design and formulate a shampoo containing the alcoholic extract of Urtica urens L. to combat hair loss. Conducted at the National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru, the study involved 10 participants with non-pathological hair loss over 21 days. Results showed a 56.8% reduction in hair loss for those using a 2% concentration shampoo and a 32.1% reduction for a 5% concentration. The study concluded that the shampoo was effective in reducing hair loss by over 50% and did not cause skin irritation.
