The research found that AGA patients had significantly higher levels of FABP4 than the control group. The elevated FABP4 levels suggested a potential role in the pathogenesis of AGA and indicated that FABP4 could serve as a biomarker for early diagnosis of the condition, with high sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy.
