    This review discussed the diverse chemical, morphological, and therapeutic properties of honey, which varied based on its botanical origin. Honey, produced by 6 to 11 species of honey bees from nectar, contained water, glucose, sucrose, fructose, vitamins, and minerals. Its therapeutic benefits included antibacterial, hepatoprotective, hypoglycemic, reproductive, antihypertensive, and antioxidant properties. Honey was used in daily life for treating conditions like hearing loss, bad breath, fatigue, weight loss, pimples, influenza, hair loss, indigestion, toothache, heart diseases, bladder infection, and infertility. The review emphasized honey's positive nutritional benefits when consumed in higher doses.
