The study discussed methods to treat widened donor scars from FUT hair transplants, including scalp micropigmentation (SMP), scar revision, and hair grafts. It concluded that using FUE to place grafts inside the widened scar was the most effective method. SMP could also achieve good results if done properly, while scar revision had unpredictable outcomes. Keeping hair long enough to cover the scar was another viable option.
