TLDR Using both Bhringaraja Taila and Yastimadhuka Taila together reduces hair fall and improves hair density in women.
This randomized controlled clinical trial involving 104 female patients with Khalitya (hair fall) assessed the combined effect of Bhringaraja Taila Shiroabhyanga and Yastimadhuka Taila Nasya. Group A, which received both treatments, showed statistically significant improvements in hair density, reduction in hair fall, and decreased scalp visibility compared to Group B, which received only Yastimadhuka Taila Nasya. The combined therapy also provided greater symptom relief and sustained benefits during follow-up, with no adverse effects reported. The study supports the Ayurvedic approach of using both external and internal applications for managing hair fall effectively.
