    Pretibial pruritic papular dermatitis (PPPD) is a rare skin disorder characterized by pruritic papules and plaques on the pretibial area, often resulting from chronic manipulation. This case report discusses a 60-year-old female with PPPD who experienced significant improvement in her lesions after 1 month of treatment with oral pentoxifylline. The report highlights the unique clinical and histological features of PPPD and suggests pentoxifylline as a novel and effective treatment option for this underrecognized condition.
