TLDR Non-hospitalized COVID-19 patients often have lingering symptoms for at least 30 days.
The study investigated post-COVID clinical manifestations in non-hospitalized patients, specifically hospital staff discharged between January and December 2020 from King Khalid University Hospital in Saudi Arabia. It concluded that low-risk profile patients experienced similar persistent post-COVID symptoms for at least the first 30 days after infection clearance. The study suggests the need for more dedicated parameter indicators and close-duration monitoring to better understand and manage these symptoms.
