TLDR Platelet-rich fibrin is becoming popular for medical and cosmetic uses like hair growth and natural fillers.
The use of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is increasing in medical and aesthetic fields due to its recognized clinical benefits, including hair restoration and as a natural alternative to fillers. To facilitate the introduction of this technique, General Medical is offering a two-day training course with Dr. Joseph Choukroun, the developer of the PRF system. The course, scheduled for 20-21 January 2023 at the Manchester Dental Education Centre, will include lectures and practical sessions. Topics will cover the biology of PRF, techniques to enhance tissue graft stability, pain management, and phlebotomy techniques. Participants will also learn how to produce PRF membranes, plugs, sticky bone, and liquid PRF.
