TLDR Plasma gel and PRP treatments improve skin and hair with minimal side effects.
The case report and studies on the use of plasma gel as an autologous collagen biostimulator for skin rejuvenation and acne scars demonstrated significant improvements in skin quality and patient satisfaction, with minimal side effects. Conducted on 52 female patients, the treatment involved a simplified centrifugation process to create plasma gel from the patient's blood, showing it to be cost-effective, safe, and well-tolerated. Additionally, PRP treatments showed notable increases in hair density for androgenetic alopecia and improved facial aesthetics when combined with HA fillers. The findings highlight the potential of plasma gel and PRP as effective, minimally invasive options for various dermatological applications, though further studies are needed to standardize protocols.
