This study explores the use of Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV) healing protocols as a treatment for paediatric alopecia areata (AA), a common immune-mediated hair loss disorder in children. A 7-year-old boy with AA underwent 73 YPV healing sessions over 15 weeks after conventional treatments failed. The protocol included pranic healing and daily rhythmic breathing exercises. Hair regrowth began by week 2, with over 75% coverage by week 8, and complete regrowth by week 15. The patient experienced reduced anxiety and improved quality of life, with no adverse effects. The study suggests YPV as a safe and effective alternative treatment for paediatric AA, recommending controlled trials for further validation.
