Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent and complex endocrine disorder marked by androgen excess, insulin resistance, and ovulatory dysfunction, which complicates its diagnosis and management. This review integrates updates from the 2023 international evidence-based guideline to improve understanding and promote individualized, evidence-based care for patients with PCOS.
