TLDR Carboxytherapy can improve and reverse aging skin.
The study investigated the effects of carboxytherapy on aging abdominal skin using a randomized, split-body trial design. The results showed that carboxytherapy is effective in treating and reversing intrinsic aging of the skin, as evidenced by pathological and immunohistochemical (IHC) assessments. These findings suggest that carboxytherapy could be a promising treatment for improving the appearance and condition of aging skin.
