    Nawara Sakpuwadol, Poonkiat Suchonwanit
TLDR Papular acantholytic dyskeratosis of the vulva is a rare, benign skin condition that can be managed conservatively.
Papular acantholytic dyskeratosis (PAD) of the vulva is a rare benign condition characterized by hyperkeratotic papules in the anogenital area, sharing histopathological features with Darier disease and Hailey-Hailey disease. This case report discusses a 21-year-old Thai woman with asymptomatic perivulvar papules typical of PAD, who remained symptom-free after conservative management. The report emphasizes the importance of clinicopathological correlation for accurate diagnosis and differentiation from similar disorders. It also reviews the clinical presentation, histopathological features, differential diagnosis, potential genetic links, and management strategies for PAD, noting that while the condition is benign, various treatments are available for symptomatic cases.
