TLDR Oral collagen combined with other treatments effectively reduces hair loss and improves hair quality in telogen effluvium.
The study investigates the effectiveness of a combined treatment approach for telogen effluvium (TE) using hardware methods and oral intake of hydrolyzed marine collagen. The study involved 28 women aged 20 to 60 years, with an average age of 33.5 years, diagnosed with TE. The treatment included monopolar radiofrequency therapy, fractional erbium laser, photodynamic therapy, and oral hydrolyzed marine collagen NFO, enhanced with vitamins C and D, hyaluronic acid, and biotin. Results showed a significant reduction in hair loss, improved hair quality, and increased hair density. The combined treatment is concluded to be an effective and safe method for improving hair condition and enhancing patients' quality of life.
