    The study investigated the effects of Nephrolepis biserrata on fertility indices in male Wistar rats with testosterone-propionate induced benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Rats were divided into 16 groups, including controls and those treated with testosterone propionate (TP), Finasteride, Doxazosin, and varying doses of N. biserrata extract. The extract significantly reduced prostate weight and prostatic index, decreased testosterone levels, and increased total sperm count compared to the BPH group. These findings suggest that N. biserrata enhances spermatogenic and androgenic functions, indicating its potential as a pro-fertility agent for men with infertility due to BPH.
