The study evaluated the topical effect of Neem oil on the skin and coat of 30 cats with dermatophytosis, using a randomized design with 5 treatment groups, including a control and applications for 5, 10, 15, and 20 days. Visual assessment focused on skin and coat conditions, with improvement rated on a scale from 1 (no improvement) to 4 (total improvement). Results indicated significant improvements in skin and coat conditions, with most cats showing at least moderate improvement. The treatments of 15 and 20 days (T4 and T5) were the most effective, demonstrating that Neem oil was beneficial in treating dermatophytosis in cats.
