This review article examines the use of nanotechnology in formulating hair tonics from various plants to enhance hair growth. The study focuses on nanoemulsion preparations, which improve penetration and activity to reach hair roots effectively. The review analyzes 6 pieces of literature, highlighting several plant-based nanoemulsion formulas, including argan oil, candlenut oil, a combination of candlenut oil and celery powder, tea leaf extract, and cedrol isolate. These formulations demonstrated improved effectiveness in promoting hair growth through in vivo testing on test animals. The research utilized electronic databases like Google Scholar and PubMed for data collection.
