    The study explored the use of multiphoton microscopy as a novel diagnostic tool to assess responses to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast carcinoma. This imaging technique allowed for label-free visualization of tumor and stromal changes, such as tumor necrosis and fibrosis, at cellular and subcellular levels. Significant differences in cell nucleus area and collagen fiber content were observed between pre-treatment and post-treatment tissues. The findings suggested that multiphoton microscopy could be a promising method for real-time, label-free assessment of treatment response, potentially improving prognostic evaluations and aiding in the development of follow-up treatment strategies.
