Studysummary This case report suggests that combining platelet-rich plasma therapy with mesotherapy may effectively increase hair density and improve scalp health in complex cases of androgenetic alopecia. Our plain-language summary of this paper — not a Tressless recommendation.
This case report highlights a successful treatment protocol for a male patient with advanced androgenetic alopecia (AGA) exacerbated by chemical damage from bleaching. The treatment involved a combination of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy and mesotherapy, administered through intradermal injections in multiple sessions. The results showed a visual increase in hair density, improved hair thickness, and enhanced scalp health, with the patient expressing high satisfaction with the aesthetic outcomes and scalp comfort. This integrative approach demonstrates the potential of combining PRP and mesotherapy as a safe and effective treatment for complex cases of AGA.
