This study optimized a traditional herbal formula from East Nusa Tenggara (RENTT) for hair growth using the Taguchi-Orthogonal Stimulus Response Method, demonstrating significant antioxidant activity and effectiveness in increasing hair density in mice with induced alopecia. The optimal RENTT formula, particularly influenced by Ficus benjamina, showed strong antioxidant properties with an IC₅₀ value of 27.46 ppm and outperformed control groups in hair density, suggesting its potential as a natural cosmeceutical product. Further research is needed to explore its phytochemical composition, safety, and efficacy in humans.
