The Combined Use of Minimally Cross-Linked Hyaluronic Acid Skin Booster and PDO Smooth Threads for Lip Rejuvenation: A Therapeutic Approach

The study evaluated the effects of injecting minimally cross-linked hyaluronic acid and PDO smooth threads on lip rejuvenation in 50 female patients with dry, cracked lips. The treatment involved using Restylane Vital® and PDO smooth threads to enhance lip texture, elasticity, and firmness through collagen induction. Results showed significant improvements in lip texture and elasticity two weeks post-injection, with effects lasting up to nine months. The depth of lip fissures and cracks also decreased markedly. The study concludes that this combined treatment approach can significantly improve dry lips with loose tissue and decreased elasticity, with further enhancements possible through repeated injections.
