Microneedling combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an effective treatment for atrophic post-acne scars, offering benefits such as reduced recovery time and decreased toxicity. While microneedling and fractional CO2 laser are established treatments, PRP alone has also shown positive outcomes. The review highlights the potential of integrating PRP with microneedling to enhance treatment efficacy for atrophic acne scars.
