Meet Our Editor: Dr. Jia-You Fang's Contributions to Drug Delivery and Nanomedicine

Dr. Jia-You Fang, with 25 years of experience, has significantly contributed to the fields of drug delivery, pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, nanomedicine, and cosmetology. He has held various academic positions in Taiwan and Saudi Arabia, and his research has led to advancements in drug absorption enhancement using low-energy ablative laser, passive targeting of nanoparticles to lungs for acute lung injury therapy, and the development of anti-alopecia drugs using antibody-conjugated lipid nanocarriers. His work also includes studying the effects of urban particulate pollution on skin barrier function and drug absorption. Dr. Fang has published 228 peer-reviewed articles, received over 5000 citations, and has an H index of 39. He has collaborated internationally, is on the editorial board of 18 scientific journals, and is the Editor-in-Chief of Drug Delivery Letters and the Regional Editor of Current Drug Therapy.
