Some Medicinal Plants Used as Folk Medicine for Dermatological Diseases in European Turkey

    The study documented the use of medicinal plants in European Turkey for treating dermatological diseases. It identified 8 taxa used for hemorrhoids and 4 taxa for hair loss. Urtica urens and Hypericum perforatum were used for burns, while Urtica dioica was used for acne. Additionally, Plantago major subsp. intermedia, Cotinus coggyria, and Hypericum perforatum were employed for treating injuries. The study provided details on plant photographs, locations, parts used, preparations, therapeutic effects, and dosages.
