This review explores the use of medicinal plants in Türkiye for treating skin diseases and as cosmetics, highlighting the country's rich medicinal flora. It identifies 439 taxa from 89 families used in ethnomedicine for dermatological issues, with commonly mentioned species including Plantago lanceolata, Malva neglecta, and Hypericum perforatum. The study, which is the first nationwide ethnopharmacological review in Türkiye for dermatological treatments, provides a valuable resource for future research on herbal remedies for skin conditions.
