TLDR Certain medications, especially Paroxetine, Tamsulosin, and Finasteride, are linked to ejaculatory disorders.
The study aimed to identify medications most associated with ejaculatory disorders using data from the FDA-FAERS and Eudra-Vigilance databases. From 7,404 reports, 92.6% were linked to ten specific medications. Paroxetine and Tamsulosin were primarily responsible for delayed and retrograde ejaculation, respectively. Finasteride was notably associated with painful ejaculation and ejaculation failure. Sildenafil showed a higher risk of ejaculatory disorders compared to Tadalafil. The findings suggest that physicians should inform patients about these risks, and further clinical trials are recommended to validate these results.
