Three years ago, a study was conducted to examine the potential effectiveness of a drug derived from the extract of Adiantum capillus-veneris (Maidenhair fern) in treating symptoms of COVID-19. The Maidenhair fern, a medicinal herb from the Pteridaceae family, was historically used by ancient physicians to treat various diseases. Modern medicine has also proven its pharmacological efficacy in treating symptoms similar to those caused by COVID-19 and underlying medical conditions. The study aimed to explore the modern therapeutic application of this plant extract-based drug for patients with COVID-19.
