TLDR A girl had two rare hair conditions that helped understand their overlap.
A case was reported of a girl exhibiting characteristics of both loose anagen hair syndrome (LAHS) and uncombable hair syndrome (UHS). LAHS is marked by easily extractable anagen hairs, while UHS is characterized by hair that appears unruly and cannot be combed flat. Previous instances of LAHS mimicking UHS were noted in 1996 and 2005. This case added to the understanding of the overlap between these two hair conditions.
