The study evaluated the use of intense pulsed light (IPL) for treating faun tail, a rare cutaneous marker of spinal dysraphism, in two patients. Using the Lumina IPL system, the treatment achieved a mean hair reduction of 85%. Tethered cord syndrome was identified as a neurological abnormality in both patients.
