TLDR Intratesticular PRP injections are safe but not proven to improve sperm retrieval in certain infertile men.
Autologous intratesticular platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection is a feasible and well-tolerated procedure with a low complication rate and rapid recovery for non-obstructive azoospermia males after failed testicular sperm extraction. However, the current scientific evidence is insufficient to establish its efficacy in improving sperm retrieval rates in this context.
