Management of Indraluptha by Cupping and Gunja Phala Lepa: A Case Report

This case report discusses the management of Indraluptha, a condition characterized by patchy hair loss, using Ayurvedic methods. A 24-year-old male patient underwent treatment involving two sessions of cupping followed by the application of Gunjaphala Lepa. The treatment aimed to remove obstructions in hair follicles to promote hair growth. The intervention showed improvement, as evidenced by the appearance of new hair follicles and a reduction in the lesion area. The study highlights the potential of traditional Ayurvedic practices in managing conditions similar to alopecia areata.
