A Role of Jaluaka Avcharana and Nimba Haridra Choorna Lepa in Treatment of Indralupta - A Case Study

    Sejalgamit Sejalgamit
The document presented a case study of a female patient with indralupta, which is comparable to alopecia areata, characterized by localized non-scarring hair loss. The study highlighted the limitations and side effects of conventional treatments like corticosteroids, which are not suitable for long-term use. Instead, the patient was successfully treated using Ayurvedic methods, specifically jaluaka (leech therapy) and a topical application of haridra (turmeric) and nimba (neem) lepa (paste). This case suggested that Ayurveda could offer a harmless and effective alternative for treating indralupta.
